Word-Gathering Teens into Communion

Here's What's Going On

Theology of the Body for Teens and Adults

Based on teachings of Venerable Pope John Paul II, we are inviting all teens and their parents (any adults) to attend a 12 week course at St. Louise de Marillac.  The classes are from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and continue every Tuesday evening through March 30.  There will be two sessions simultaneously, one for teens and one for adults.  There is a team approach to these classes and will include topics such as love versus lust, remaining pure in a oversexed culture, and the beauty and purpose of our creation.  For more information, see our Theology of the Body flyer or all Janet at (724) 941-9587 to register.

Mission Trip Times Two

Last year about 20 of our teens traveled to the hills of Kentucky to do service work for the Appalachian people.  This year, we have been given the opportunity to bring two separate groups, both for the same week just at different locations within the Diocese we are helping.  This means that there will be one Mission Trip the week of July 25 – 30, but it will be available to both high school students and young adults.  Of course, parents are needed as adult leaders for the high school location.  There will be an informational meeting on February 18 in the Youth Ministry Office for all those interested.  Call Janet Roberto for more info at 724.941.9587.
