WOMEN OF ST. BENEDICT
Welcome!! to the Women of St. Benedict (WOSB) web page.
WOSB has been a vibrant part of the parish for 43 years. All women who are members of St. Benedict are automatically members. It is easy to become an "active" member of our organization—simply come to our meetings. NO DUES are charged.
Our monthly meetings are held from September through May. We provide FREE babysitting at these meetings.
Do you like to have fun? Do you enjoy spending time doing something positive? Do you enjoy working with other women? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then WOSB is the perfect place for you.
In addition to meetings, we have many varied activities, services projects and fund raisers. We offer something of interest for everyone.
Malone's Flowers Kicks Off the WOSB Year!
Doesn't our beautiful new church always look so lovely with fresh flowers?! The altar always looks so festive during special occasions! Stop by the kick-off meeting for the Women of St Benedict and meet the folks who make this happen...local florist Malone's Flower Shop in Canonsburg. Malone's will help usher in the Fall with some beautiful floral demonstrations centered around the theme of “Flowers and Faith”. Don't miss us in O'Brien hall on Thursday, September 23 at 9:30 in the morning.
Refreshments will be served by our wonderful hostesses!
WOSB Shoe Boxes
The Women of St. Benedict will be collecting soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors, etc. to send to families in Appalachia this Christmas. As you travel this summer, please save the hotel samples for us. Your cooperation over the years is greatly appreciated. Last year we packed 500 shoe boxes and hope to pack more this year. We also need women’s size shoe boxes. Please place your items in the collection box in O’Brien Hall. If you have any questions, call Jackie Buck at 724.941.6955.

Any women interested in playing bridge once a month starting in September, please call either Lois McCloskey at 724.941.6879 or Shirley Mitchell at 724.941.4169.
